ALDI

This is HANDS DOWN one of my favorite stores. Anyone who knows me know how well…cheap I am J and this store has some of the lowest prices ever.

Not only are their regular prices significantly less that most food stores, but they also have weekly specials. They don’t have “name brand” items but I have tried a lot of them and they always meet my expectations (aside from the prepackaged rice I’d stay clear of that).

So I was there a few weeks ago to pick up a few things and I stumbled upon this Kitchen Living Mandoline Slicer

My knife skills are mediocre at best so this little gadget is such a wonderful addition to my kitchen. With the $4.99 price tag I was a little skeptical, but after using it I’m sold. I’m sure it’s not the best madnoline ever but I am also not a master chef so it works for me. It came with two different sized slice blades, an addition for dicing and two graters. Best $5 I’ve spent in a while.
